Thinking of you

My heart sank when I saw you, yesterday. You said ‘Hi’ with a sad smile and I died for a second there. I was with someone else, yet you were all I could think of. I know it was unfair to the person I’m with, but you gave me no choice.

You let me go.

Well, I guess it was my fault for assuming things between us. But you also played a part in this confusion. You made plans with me even when I told you that you might end up like the others where you will leave me hanging, and you promised you won’t. You even said we will make it happen, we will find a way.

And guess what? You did. You left me hanging when all I asked of you was simple. You just have to let me know.

Now, i’m starting over again.
